It is immediately apparent that she knows what you're going through
and the questions you need answered. It gave our family priceless
hope in a most trying time. I have personally written the author
to thank her for producing such a work.

Do Not Hesitate to Buy this Book! - December 9, 2000
Reviewer: A reader from Brooklyn, NY The Cradle of Civilization
This is a wonderful book that covers a difficult subject that few of
us want to tackle. And, it covers both the spiritual and physical
aspects of living with cancer. The author has done a remarkable
job by putting the disease in both a real world as well as metaphysical
context. She is to be commended.
Very informative book on living with cancer - November 19, 2000
Reviewer: Mary Mackenzie from Manhasset, NY
This is a very special book. It is as though Nancy Hassett Dahm
speaks to the reader. It offers a broad range of information and
answers many questions anyone with cancer would have. It helps
people journey though their illness with dignity and self respect.
It offers hope and strength because it provides people with knowledge
- the knowledge that it is possible to attain a level of comfort that
makes their journey more bearable. It also offers a spiritual
component to it that is so extraordinarily helpful in times of need.
This book is a powerful tool for any person or family member experienced
a diagnosis of cancer. It is a wonderful book and I would highly
recommend it.
Mind, Body and Soul ( A Guide to Living with
Cancer)
By Nancy Hassett Dahm.
Written by an RN who specializes in Cancer care, this book is a must
read for the cancer patient/ and or their family. Written with
such a caring tone and yet so full of essential information, I felt
as though I had found the "dream nurse". She transcends
the written page and symbolically holds the reader's hand. Contains
in-depth information on managing treatment symptoms, pain, giving and
receiving quality care, and overcoming stress and fear. There are also
chapters on new advances in cancer treatment, answered prayers and miracles,
etc.. I highly recommend as a gift or for oneself.
