Mind, Body, and Soul; A Guide to living with Cancer By Nancy Hassett Dahm

I was impressed with this book. This is a difficult subject to tackle and the author has done it in a very understanding and supportive fashion. I sensed the author's passion for her chosen field as well as the love and compassion for her patients and families. The book was very well researched and quite thorough. I like both the medical and spiritual aspect of this book and felt that it was a generous blending of both. The writing was conversational and engaging and makes the reader feel comforted by her knowledge. While this is not just another "overcoming cancer book" I got the sense that the author had a much larger mission here. One which I feel she accomplished.
